Juliana Ellis studied Chiropractic at Macquarie University and was closely mentored by Cathie Compton who originally owned the business and was both a Chiropractor and Osteopath. Juliana has done further study in Applied Kinesiology and Neurological Diagnostics and has a deep fascination in neuroplasticity and how much we still don’t understand of how our brains function.
Juliana’s interest in chiropractic began when she was looking for answers for her daughters ongoing issues with headaches and ear infections. As a mother, she found conventional medicine to be frustrating, doctors simply patched over the issues and never got to the root of the problem. She was originally interested in studying Osteopathy however, she would not be able to study close enough to her family, fortunately Macquarie University was close and offered a Chiropractic program. On orientation day she met the head of department and was convinced that this was the profession for her. Juliana has developed a love for Chiropractic, and through her mentorship with Cathie, she is now a Chiropractor who works in a gentle Osteopathic style.
Juliana quickly developed a unique and holistic treatment method that combined her university evidence-based learning with Cathie's 36+ years of clinical experience and wisdom. She looks at the body as a whole to ensure you get back to enjoying your life as quickly as possible.
Juliana is passionate about passing the mentorship she received forward to the next generation of chiropractors. She has a team of enthusiastic Chiropractic students from Macquarie University who have all been trained in the unique Keystone method and provide the initial soft tissue releases for your treatment.
